As a multi-instrumentalist wanting to be able to produce his own music as well, he graduated his second bachelor (classical) Composition and Music Production Cum Laude at the Prins Claus Conservatory after finishing his bachelor guitar at ArtEZ Conservatory of Zwolle. Having played in numerous rockbands such as The Mandrills, Curnoi, Kofko(’s Courtesy) and is now working on his first releases as The Last Mandrill and MANDRILL MACHINE at his self-proclaimed label Double Double You Records.

Frequently working together with Fynn van der Ziel on short animations, he also collaborated with Ieva Graubaskaitei on her award-winning animation Lucid (2022). His instincts for 80’s movie cliches came to fruition in his first filmscore for the shortfilm Het Geschrift van Reinier (2021). A part of his first pianoconcerto was recorded by the NNO with French Pianist Thomas Le Guenne (2022). He moreover composed a part of Opera Spanga’s After The Flood (2022). His work "Flows" for Trombone and Bass Clarinet premiered at the Grachtenfestival Amsterdam 2023. The 48hourfilmproject short 'De Vader, de Dochter en de Pastoor' - De Bronstige Albatros where he was responsible for composition, won the award for best Writing, 2nd place for all movies and was nominated for Best Sound Design 2023, Groningen, The Netherlands.

Kofko’s Courtesy their first single Swallow was released 30-12-2022. Their second single Silver Sea has been released 03-03-2023.
